Gelbed [Adjust the level to suit yourself - a variable choice]

We offer you crystals so you can adjust from Very Soft 0000 [Level 0] to Firm 1400 [Level 4]

With Gelbeds, water crystals are added to a SOFT MATTRESS without baffles and the gel/water combination thickens. The Gel at a low consistency has similar conformity to a standard bladder without baffles. Gel can be thickened beyond our Hard 2100 level 6 bladder but heater hotspots develop when the thickness of the Gel has a similar performance to our Firm 1400 , level 4 baffle system. In winter, with really thick Gel ie like our 2100 [level 6] there can be a difference of 10 degrees, from above the heater to the edge of the bladder. The Gelbed concept is a brilliant idea, however if the Gel is thicker than our Firm 1400, heating the Gel can be a real problem as the thicker Gel will not circulate like water.
We give you the Gel equivalent approximately of a 1400 level 4, baffled bladder. ie. For a queen one bladder soft sider we give you Gel 3500
Start of with 2500 - try it, and if you need to go harder add another Gel 500 and try it again for a few days.
Then note how much is added on the bladder, so when you move and refill you go direct to your level without having to re-experiment

WARM IN WINTER, COOL IN SUMMER

Water does not collapse or hollow out like foam so if you need the same support year after year then why not try the modern waterbed or Gelbed.

Like cars, they do change !!! Wish I had $1 for every time I heard about customers buying a $2000 and later can't sleep on it. With a waterbed you only have to replace the bladder not the bed. So if you do need to change it's cheaper. But don't forget you can still fine tune your comfort by increasing and decreasing the water level. With a Gelbed you can increase or decrease stability as desired by adding Gel or salt
